Even Salah doesn’t seem immune to it, consistently very good for years but completely crap this season.

I’d say he is the literally the opposite of an inconsistent winger. He has been the best player in the league for years. He’s just past his best now. That happens

The speed his form has fallen off a cliff is alarming though.  One of the POTY last season, now a waste of a shirt.

I wouldnt mind darwin tbh. Liverpool missing him and nunez. Nunez obviously  out of reach but naybe we can get darwin. Seems in good form as well in saudi arabia

Yes he misses chances but he can be a handful and does score alot too

The quintessential Demetri_C post. He should screenshot it, have it framed and retire… naybe.

Na i couldnt do that to you percey i know you would miss me too  much 😉
Although  i deserve  all these pelters for my silly post. Blame the baileys

I just typed out a lot about Rumpole, we're all glad I deleted it, but thanks for writing (the word) Rumpole.

Bergvall world be a great acquisition but I doubt think we'll be able to get him; there'll be other teams competing for him.
So, who is out there - the new Wharton, Anderson or Bergvall - that we can get?

Anderson isn't gettable, he'll be in Manchester. Wharton was definitely linked to bigger clubs before the season but have no idea if he has managed to kick on at all.

Bergvall is too handsome to play in a struggling side.

He said 'who's the new...' meaning what other unearthed gems are there out there waiting to be picked up.

Don’t worry, Brighton or Bournemouth will find them. Then we will know.

Thx, OCD; I was just about to dive in and clarify!
@LeeS - you're right that Brighton or Bournemouth will find them, and I suppose my point was that we've got to start being much smarter (c.f. Kamara) in recruitment terms. Maybe bringing in Brian and Alysson is an indicator that we are starting ...

Re Bournemouth, I wonder whether we might try for Alex Scott (no, not the female version!), who approximates the way that Anderson / Wharton play.
