Imagine Kamara, Onana and Mount all injured in the physio's room together. We'd have the strongest physio's room in the league.

He is but if there was any chance we could get Gibbs-White, there's only one winner.

Agreed Eamo, think MGW is our man this summer to go for. Barks, Sancho, Bailey, maybe even Buendia have had their day. He's a serious upgrade

We won't be able to afford MGW, unfortunately.  We are not allowed nice things.

Even if we get CL football?

Transfer fees wouldn't be the problem it's the wages that are holding us back now.

I've often thought Mount would be a player very well suited to an Emery system, and cheaper than Gibbs-White.

He's judged much more harshly than he should be, I think mainly because of his England selection in the times of St Jack.

I agree he'd fit well in an Emery system, but his injury record means you'd probably only get a dozen games a season out of him.

That's probably what Leeds fans were saying about Calvert-Lewin when he was first linked to them.

Once Luiz is up to speed, I'd have him in instead of Onana.

I don’t think Luiz was particularly good before, other than a purple patch, and I think he’s even worse now.

Kamara, Onana and Tielemans is definitely our best midfield in my opinion.

Some purple patch! POTY in Emery's first season, arguably our key midfielder the season we got CL footballer (Kamara injured and Tielemans very slow to settle). His struggles towards the end of that season are well overplayed on here. Raw stats alone are incredible - 53 apps, 10 goals, 10 assists.

We'd be better off using the Luiz money to buy someone who play the Kamara role, either alongside him, or do a similar job to Kamara when he's unavailable.

Onana should be doing that

Onana doesn’t have the technical ability to do that.

I could only see MGW if we sell Roger’s (which I think we will have to)

His struggles that season corresponded with no Kamara and this season shows the ending of the season wasn't because of being over-played and was because Kamara was gone. So no I wouldn't have him as our key midfielder when we got CL football. Of those 10 goals, 5 were pens as well which, whilst he has the best record of scoring them, is kind of useless if we don't get given any to take.

Agreed, that's the key issue. Tielemans had the technical ability to replace Luiz in comparison. Anyway, Onana for motm tonight!
