They have added an extra bod in midfield to press more haven't they and moved to our Achilles 3-5-2.

They look more dangerous this half, could do with a third or them getting a deserved red

What a absolutely  brilliant  first half that was. Am so pleased with that performance. I just hope we keep this tempo and dont go to the slow pedantic stuff and let Bournemouth  back in

I love it when we play pedantic football. It's not a 'free' kick, we earned it with our swashbuckling play. All players have legs. All games are of two halves. Parrots aren't generally nauseous. We're empirically not the greatest team the world has ever seen. It's unlikely that all the Bournemouth fans will be returning to their homes in a fucking ambulance.
It’s physically & mathematically impossible for players to give more than 100% and if they even went close to 100% they’d have a heart attack.

That's the problem with the modern game.

Players like Gabby were grateful for the three points - even when it was League Cup games they were playing in.

He didn't let pedantic things like the actual format of the competition bother him at all.

Or things like training, for that matter. Could drink his own bodyweight in sausage roll milkshakes and still waddle around the pitch at 3pm on Sat.

I must say I am really looking forward to seeing the big teams get off the bus. I really hope they show it.

I might even record it.

I have a quid on all today's games ending in draws (493/1). I'm worried I might win.

I have a feeling this is going to be one of those games that do funny things to my blood pressure in the last ten minutes.
