Agree it’s a very much after the Lord Mayors show competition.
It feels a bit dull and irrelevant.
Plodders League.

Whereas I think it works well in the Champions League, I'm not sure the format works as well I'm the other two competitions.  There will of course be stiffer tests if we progress into the knockout stages, but agree with the above comment about the pricing structure and feel it should have been more like the Conference League package.

We played within ourselves , disappointed we did not put them to the sword.  Spent a lot of £ on the tickets for what felt like a training match at times

On to Bournemouth !

I'm sorry whaaat? Flukey goal? A great run by Maatsen. A super little through ball by Rogers and a sublime finish by "Maat" That what I saw and that's what the studio commentators and live commentary saw. If you were joking I apologise profusely as it went straight over my head.

Maatsen is calling it flukey himself.
In the interview I saw he said "I thought it was offside so I just hit it anyway" I don't think that equates to flukey. If there's an interview of him saying it was a fluke I'll wind my neck in. I thought it was a brilliant finish either way.

"... but I was so close to the goal and I just tried to flick it in, and luckily, with a bit of luck it was a beautiful goal so I'm very happy".

He might not have used the word "fluke" but he does state luck twice in the interview. However unlike Guessand's goal last round, it isn't one to be called fluke where it just hit him, he was going for the shot and he pulled it off, and the build up play was tremendous as well.

It is easy to forget that a lot of players are giving interviews in what is their second or third language.

Yeah but the average Dutch speaks better English than many Brits.
