2 things you can't do if you go to Anfield and expect to win or even draw, 1, you don't gift the opposition crazy opportunities they can't fail to score from and that was a huge mistake and 2, you take your chance gratefully, had we taken those chances early in the game the whole thing would have looked very different.
For me area's of concern would be Ollie, he is not now or not ever, a full on striker and that's what we need, we depend on a player that has just stopped scoring that we depend on to score, this slowing the opposition down, how the flip flop do you slow Liverpool down, you don't, don't get me wrong the difference between the 2 sides was minimal, but this kind of slow build up long ball approach is never going to work against Liverpool, Guessand happy to give the bloke every chance but he knows the Premiership now, he's bedded in, he now needs to show on a game by game basis what the 30 million was for, personally I think he has it in him but he does now need to show some brilliance, a few goals, help Ollie out.
Emi, what can you say, he's our first choice goalkeeper, he wanted to leave the club and was desperate to leave the club, its a dodgy thing.
Glad to see these batch of games over, thought we did really well, we beat Spurs and Man City, before these 3 games I would have been amazed at that outcome, I would have bet on 1 point v Spurs, we need to focus on the next 3 games all of which we can seriously get max points from and break into the top 4, then hold on like grim death for the rest of the season to a top 6 place and try to squeeze in for a CL place, this is where it counts.
