We are totally unbalanced, nearly gave one away through trying to play out from the back. Everton are a raelly poor side and as the season goes on the clearer that will become. Sadly Grealish was their only threat and he was clearly the best forward on the pitch. When Buendia becomes our only threat we are in trouble. We are still basically the team that got promoted which says a lot about our scouting, I would argue that Monchi has been a negative since he arrived.

I think what is concerning is that these players only a few months ago bounced back and utterly battered probably the best team in the world at VP.

What’s going on?
The Asensio chance that night was indeed a sliding door moment.
If they had of gone in we would have beaten Arsenal and Inter.
Fine margins.
Or if the ref had not blown the whistle at OT.

Our CH issue of last season is our CM issue this season.

We can’t keep any of them fit.

Maybe if they weren't all made of bone china it would help. Onana, for a big bloke that cost us Gbp50mill, is never fit for more than a few games. Everton sure saw us comming.

I haven’t seen any of the game but on the face of it with 3 CMs unavailable and another going off injured an away point against a team who have started the season well is a creditable result.

We are a pale shadow of the team we were last season. Unfortunately  it looks as though  we will go onwards this year but not upwards.

We've lost a lot of pace out of the squad. Rashford, Bailey, Ramsey all gone, and even Duran and Diaby both gone. A Hopefully Sancho will step up, but who knows?
Also, a crisis of confidence it seems. No goals in 4 games is really a concern.

It’s not really the result, it’s the genuinely remarkable lack of any sense of attacking output. It’s utterly bizarre just how lacking in anything we are and perhaps most worryingly we just continue to plough on.

I agree but a lot of people feared the worst yesterday and we got a point out of it. I think the performances and more importantly the goals will come.

The results have been poor and the performances worse.  We set up yesterday not to concede.  No other side in last seasons top 6 would do that.  We are acting like a bottom half side worried about losing.  To everyone we play.

What on earth has gone on behind the scenes.

Tough start to the season - hopefully Unai can turn it around for us

We desperately need to qualify for European football next season if we don’t then a lot of players will be wanting out of the club

We're acting like and playing like a bottom 6 side. Confidence has drained from the club thanks to a botched summer window.

Spot on mate. The biggest  problem is gettingvthe ball faster we are ridiculously  bad at it now and i think its for that reason
Even ramsey who wasnt blessed with pace took the ball forward quickly.  Watching our guys now its like watching tortoises get forward

Keeping in mind we're stuck with this squad of players until at least January - with no guarantee of any major improvements even then - judging by what we've seen so far i honestly fear for us this season.

I think the cup SF and the no show at OT has also bitten a bit deeper.
