What do they do it for, to try to charge a ransom?

I looked it up on Wikipedia and that's what they suggested. It did seem an odd target.

It's been extremely slow for me tonight and went down completely this morning during the England game.

I have a feeling an early morning backup kicked off this morning during thr England game as there are usuaully only insomniac saddos and the odd antipodean missionary to notice.

Tonight seems to have been a bot/ ddos attack as we normally have around 1500-2500 on and we have 30k at the moment with an all-time peak of 34k at 1630 today.

I bet the Leeds site had more  ;) :D

Most DDOS are trolling. Maybe a Bloser did it as a larf. I think the one time we were hacked off line several years ago, it might have been alluded that a rival team supporter did it.

But it could also be down the bots who log on occaisionally. When they are blocked the programmer might not have done a timeout on tries for connection and it might spawn extra tries until the figure hits 30k entities and fucks up the site.

What’s wrong with the site? It’s either down or extremely slow.

After doing my research on Rwanda, I wondered if they were attacking us!

Surely these issues are costing Woodhall Global Fund millions and millions by the hour?

I’m a little worried that the brains/tech folk behind H&V have fucked off to Chelsea.
