He's definitely a good player. He was one of the stand out players in Bundesliga for about three seasons. It was a long time ago, but he's still in there and we're all starting to see the little signs it may be coming out. Absolutely persevere with him on the right until the end of the season and see where it leads. He looks pretty happy here and in my eyes he wants it. Think he would take the pay drop in all honesty (he'll have to take some form as no one is matching his Man United contract). If he doesn't do enough then so be it.

I don’t think he’s been amazing, but he’s easily been 6 or 7/10 recently. I think there’s generally a bias against Sancho - which in fairness he’s contributed to over the last few years - whereby any weakness in his game is disproportionately focussed on versus the good he brings.
The question is this: when we get to July, how will we want to use our salary pot, and would it make sense to give £200k a week of it to Sancho vs having other uses for those funds?
