He's definitely a good player. He was one of the stand out players in Bundesliga for about three seasons. It was a long time ago, but he's still in there and we're all starting to see the little signs it may be coming out. Absolutely persevere with him on the right until the end of the season and see where it leads.

He looks pretty happy here and in my eyes he wants it. Think he would take the pay drop in all honesty (he'll have to take some form as no one is matching his Man United contract). If he doesn't do enough then so be it.

He wouldn't  take a pay drop to join chelsea. Absolutely  no chance he is dropping his wages.

Im ok with it he is entitled  to be paid what he thinks he is worth but we are also entitled to say we aint paying you ehat uou think you are worth

Who is paying him £250k per week next season then?

If he does well enough that we think we'd like him to stay then someone will take him on a free for 200+k a week.

If he was going abroad at the end of the season, he would have already signed a pre-contract wouldn't he? I'm guessing he wants to keep his options open though with another team in the Prem.

If his contract is up at the of the season, I hope and pray we don’t decide to offer him one.
If his performances now are based on him playing to impress a potential new employer, I dread to think how shit he will be once he has put pen to paper and is safe for another 3 or 4 years.

Steer well clear.

He’s playing better, is giving solid 60 minute 7 out of 10 stuff but needs to up that to 70-80 minutes with even more end product. It’s far too early to think about what we’d do in the summer. If he progresses and contributes to what we all pray for by the end of the season then there’s a discussion to be had but at the moment I’ve not seen enough to consider it.
