It was actually an excellent header because Matty’s cross was deflected. He had to adjust himself almost mid flight and still got a very good header in. Should have scored again later when his touch let him down.

He came across as quite humble and shy in the interview on TNT afterwards. I guess if you're paid a fortune for little return it must be natural to feel sheepish when asked questions live on telly.

He did say that he is hard on himself which was interesting. If true maybe this goal will give him a bit of confidence.
