If he keeps improving and our season carries on in a similar trajectory, it's hard to see us not wanting to sign him or him not wanting to be here.

His best appearance yet.

Looked an elite footballer, skill level has never been in doubt.

When he does something good, he looks excellent, when he's not switched on he might as well be playing in flip flops.  Does he need to be thrown in and told he's playing for 90 minutes, get on with it?

He was excellent in a 180 turn from his previous sub cameos which were rubbish. Hopefully he will now push on

I wonder how much was to show Chelsea what they missed. Shame he can't always be as motivated if it was.

Thought he also did well on the ball in our half, really pays to have technique in that area.

He needs to realise he's at the best club, with the best manager he'll ever have to get his career going again. If he can't do it in these circumstances he never will.

He's clearly an elite footballer, if he wants it.

Very good for 30 mins today.

He was good and well done to him, but he's not what he was just a few years ago and what we now need. A wide player with burning pace.

Exactly, I'm still unconvinced about his regular attitude. Or his ability to affect games from the start. Upgrades on him and Guessand would still be preferable.

I think bit by bit his confidence is being restored and we're going to end up with a really good player signing for free in the summer and making an absolute mockery of his time at Old Trafford.

Steady on, it's only a few weeks ago he was jumping out of tackle in front of Emery in Europe. Brave/reckless decision to bring him on yesterday given some of his cameos lately. But he has loads of ability.

Does Emery do ‘reckless’ ever?

I don't think it was reckless: bear in mind, our bench yesterday did not offer much deep playing experience, which Sancho has, and the game needed cool heads.
I don't really see what Sancho offers us - particularly on ManUre-type wages - but yesterday was the first time I thought he looked okay and actually added something.
He's not a long-term solution for our needs, though.

Such a meticulous manager has taken the same 'risk' in every win against the so called 'big six'.
