Then walked back in slowly and only reacting when the ball came out to the edge of the area to a player he could have been marking if he had run back. Then when the final shot went wide, seemed to moan at the other players again. He was subbed straight after I think.
My main frustration is he is so one footed (right) and plays on the left so no matter how promising the position the defenders show him inside and the move peters out.
Andy Townsend on co-comm called him out at one point in the second half for "looking over his shoulder" when he let a ball right in front of Emery run out of play to avoid a contest with their defender. I'm struggling to think of a more cowardly player in a Villa shirt. Bailey certainly wasn't the bravest but Sancho is in a league of his own.

The season we finished fourth, Bailey was nothing short of a leader on the pitch, and off it too.
