Had the cheek to ask to see a replay of it on Nanny MacPhee's screen before sloping off to the dressing room. Has he apologised on Insta yet ?

He has now. He "needed a few days to reflect and reset" apparently. Better late than never, I guess.

He made a mistake but it wasn't just him. We were 1-0 up going into half-time and for some reason we committed too many players forward and Bailey chucked a bad ball in. At worst, we should have just seen the half out.

Defensive organisation wasn't great. Nor was it for both of Tonali's goals with a weak screen in front of the box. But none of this excuses what Bizot did

Footballers shouldn’t apologise for in game mistakes, the same as clubs or players shouldn’t refund fans after a bad result.

So if he has a 3 game ban - is it in next years FA cup?

Surely it is not relevant in the Pre / Europe comps?

If it's given in any domestic comp it carries over to league, wouldn't count for Europa.

It's only a one game ban though as the tackle wasn't deemed dangerous or reckless.

Yes, it should be the bad refs and managers who stump up.

Eh. Apologizing for a shitty performance or the like I despise, but he's acknowledging a specific error which absolutely cost us the game. I think it's fair game in this instance.

Refunding the fans is pathetic though, regardless of what may have happened between the two whistles going.
