Just realised, Emery has never won the Super Cup…

Does their season start later than ours? Hoping we might be more advanced in pre season prep! Spurs took them to penalties.

They had played the CWC so that might have been a reason. This time around quite a few of their better players will be at the world cup the same as ours. Unfortunately Kvaratskhelia won't be there, but neither will Buendia.

I spoke to Dad earlier.
"Will you watch the Champions League final later?" Dad, 'No."
"Will you watch if Arsenal are losing 2 or 3-0?" Dad, "Oh yes!".

Called him with the result. He's now watching RTE2+1.

Top man!

👍

Pens at the PSG end, they're going first.

Such are the fine margins, winning both the coin tosses was probably a big factor in PSG winning the shootout.

It was funny Gabriel missing as he likes to give it the big one.

Arsenal scoring after 5 minutes was enough for me. Shut up shop and defend what you've got. Not a great spectacle. But I'm not going to join in the personal abuse. PSG weren't that good either.

Thought Arsenal were the biggest tossers.

"Personal abuse", bloody Hell. It was a football match, sometimes people like it when teams they don't like lose.

It was funny Gabriel missing as he likes to give it the big one.
He regularly feigns injury, try’s to get players sent off, fouls the goalkeeper at corners and acts like a total xxxx, it rally was lovely seeing him miss the penalty.

Plus it means Arsenal have still only ever won a Fairs Cup and a Cup Winners' Cup. I wouldn't swap them for our European honours.

Rice. "The best teams have lost on penalties before." Wasn't that what you were hoping would happen Declan? Surely you weren't trying to state Arsenal was the better team were you?
