I'm sure we can all agree that England winning the World Cup will be the perfect end to a splendid season.

If the winner is Morgan supplying Watkins to get his golden boot goal...

I find it all very odd. I’m glad they lost, but there’s no shame in how they approached it. There’s too much snootiness about football - we’ve had it with the XG stuff - if you’re successful then it is what it is. Good that Paris won and time to get them back.

Call me old fashioned but if you don't enter the opposition's half don't complain that you lost. XG is for kids, we were too busy scoring worldies to be concerned.

Konsa, to Rogers, into Watkins… and that’s surely that!

I spoke to Dad earlier.
"Will you watch the Champions League final later?" Dad, 'No."
"Will you watch if Arsenal are losing 2 or 3-0?" Dad, "Oh yes!".

Called him with the result. He's now watching RTE2+1.

much better to enjoy this them losing to pens .. If you are getting hammered , you prepare for the lost well before the end but pens is cruel and thats why its more enjoyable . They set up to dull the game , taking it to pens and still  lost .....  and to my nephew for changing teams from villa , having taken you there so many times to Arsenal who you have never seen live... take that you little turncoat ...

A bit harsh some of the comments here. PSG didn't play well and that was down to good defending. Deserved it in the end, but why all the vitriol.

Sorry, Chris.

This is never going to get old 🤣

Does their season start later than ours? Hoping we might be more advanced in pre season prep! Spurs took them to penalties.

We needed a European match to knock us out of our funk last season. Glad to get one early this time around.

Yeah but that’s an obvious exaggeration, they played a better team and tried to stifle them. It didn’t work, but it is what it is. Like I say I’m glad they lost, but there’s quite a lot of fuss over not very much for me.

It’ll be good to face PSG in August.

Do I look for AFTV now, or wait a little longer for the highlight of the weekend?
