New Wenger offside rule being tested in the Canadian Premier League. Would be offside today but the rule requires clear daylight for the player to be off.

I hate it.

Same here, plus nothing good ever came out of Canada (apart from poutine, polar bears, and Linda Evangelista).

Just watching the Citeh/Arse highlights. Gabriel got away with so much in that match. Blocks a certain goal with his arm, but is probably the least worst decision because it was by the side of his body (how many times do defenders put them both behind their back though). Then blatantly pulls back Cherki in the box after getting beaten but because he played his pass off a fraction later, the foul is completely ignored. Then the movement of the head into Haaland's face.

Beautiful, heartwarming stuff. There's no daylight between him and the rock.

Almost as bad as last year where he claimed Arsenal should be awarded the title because they had more points the season before then Liverpool had and they played so well against PSG that they should be declared winners of the match.

He is the greatest manager of all time. Nearly six years he has been there now and has still never lost a match that wasn't really unfair in some way. What a guy.

He seems a spectacularly humourless prick. I’m sure he cuddles polar bears and sick children in his spare time but his utter joylessness is reflected in the mundane nature of the football his team play. He’s George Graham with a foreign accent.

One of my favourite games of recent times was the 2-0 at theirs to end their title bid. Of course, they should have been 4-0 up at halftime so we didn't really win.

I do still think Arsenal will win the league, though. Citeh's run of Everton, Bournemouth and Brentford, 2 of which are away, I think is more difficult than what Arsenal have left. West Ham away for them is the only potential difficult one I think. Outsiders will include us with Citeh's difficult games, I won't, we'll be pissed from the Europa League final, win or lose, should we get there.

I guess the only unknowable factor will be the semi-finals taking a toll on Arsenal.

Minus the trophies.

Man City should win at Burnley. Arsenal then have two games before their next one, Newcastle and Fulham, both at home. I reckon if they're six points clear after that they still win it, but if they even drop two points it is full on bottle job.

If it goes on "favourite wins the game" then they should both win all their matches. I'd say that on current trajectory, Arsenal are more likely to randomly slip up when you don't expect it than Man City are. If neither slip up, they finish level on points.

I've been saying to my Arsenal mate since before Christmas that they'll lose it on the last day of the season on goal difference because Man City will pump us 8-0 because we're all pissed up celebrating.

I am starting to think that it's actually how the season will end, and "Villa giving in and handing City the title" will be one of those things that goes down in Premier League folklore.
