Sociedad win.

Chuffed to bits for David Moyes, John Aldridge, John Toshack, and PWS.

Chelsea haven't scored a PL goal nor picked up a point since they beat us.

We need to take advantage tomorrow.

Simon’s should have been sent off.  Taking his shirt off and diving into the crowd.

The jump into the crowd should have been a third yellow. He had already been booked before he scored.

Ignore post above. I got time of the goal wrong. Totally agree, should have been a red.

The way they celebrated that goal shows why Spurs will go down.
Celebrating like they have won the league with 20 mins of the game left. They haven’t got the sense or the nous for a battle.
They’re doomed, and it’s fecking brilliant.

Had he? I thought that was when he got his booking.

New Wenger offside rule being tested in the Canadian Premier League. Would be offside today but the rule requires clear daylight for the player to be off.

I hate it.

I want to see it in a few other instances like a breakaway goal for example. Or where daylight is questioned because of shirt sleeve. If implemented, initially goalscoring stats might go through the roof. And worry long term is defences will sit much deeper. But let’s see where it ends up. I think it’s better than offside by a pubic hair which kills the game today. Why do you hate it?

Precisely for that, because I think that defences will go deeper and very very quickly. Also it's just, like, offside. Why are we allowing strikers to be offside? And daylight just makes the VAR thing even worse because it'll be even more arbitrary and harder to measure, and less automatable (word?), while solving none of the 'by a bawhair' problems.
