The Lampard pitch side interview last night is nice. He's quite emotional and it's obviously huge for him personally. It's probably quite difficult being seen as great at one job, as a footballer, then going into another one having to prove yourself in a completely different way. When, to be Frank, you don't really need to. Respect.
It was a nice interview and good luck to him after all the relative managerial failures, he’s kept going, when he could of sat in the studio pontificating, fair play to him.

I remember Lampard's last match for Chelsea at VP. He was given a generous round of applause from us while John Terry cheated his way around, got Benteke sent off and was then stretchered off to jeers. Always quite liked Frank

Lampard has done ok as a manager, got the Chelsea job too early and made a mistake going to Everton when they were a mess but at Derby he showed he can do a good job in the championship.

More evidence that Mark Goldbridge deserves his large viewership. https://x.com/markgoldbridge/status/1858263021182677375

Wonder if he’ll do a watch along on his team playing against us in the Europa semi final

At least he thought they would both do crap. I seem to remember some on here thinking Leicester appointing Ruud was a shrewd move and would keep them up, then stating Coventry appointing Lampard was baffling.

Quite admire Frank for what he's done at Cov to be honest.

Maddison on the bench for Spurs
They also have Bentancur and Simons in the starting XI. On paper this is a strong team.
A. Kinský
Udogie,
van de Ven
Danso
Porro
Gallagher
Bentancur
Bissouma
Simons
Kolo Muani
Solanke
