They hate us and are obsessed with us. 87 was a nightmare!

A lot of our support comes from areas they think they should own!

Warwick and Leamington particularly. Nary a cov top in sight in Leamington, all Villa

Kenilworth is very Cov-heavy. Or it was in the 90s, maybe it's changed since they've been out of sight.

Closer to Coventry I guess. I used to drink in the old Firkin pub on the high st and the bear and ragged staff more or less opposite in those days, I don’t remember much football stuff but from memory there were a lot more Warwick uni students in Kenilworth back then.

Yeah, I did nearly all my formative pub football watching in the Bear & Ragged Staff (Tut And Shive as it was back then)

Strong memories of watching England lose to Brazil first thing in the morning in 2002, while a bloke standing behind me spent an hour yelling astonishing racism at Emile Heskey.

Hadn’t really thought about it but there is a chance Spurs could be relegated at Villa Park!

How will Barcelona and Real Madrid cope when their Premier League rivals get relegated today?

Blues, Albion and Wolves in 2nd Tier next season, Villa and Cov in top tier. Back to the 90s

I started to work this out but couldn’t be bothered. Is it a case of them losing the next two before they come to us and Forest and West Ham winning the next two?

More evidence that Mark Goldbridge deserves his large viewership. https://x.com/markgoldbridge/status/1858263021182677375

I suppose there are a number of possibilities so long as we leave them 7 points adrift after beating them!

There are 4 games for all sides including that one.

So there is a chance!

The Lampard pitch side interview last night is nice. He's quite emotional and it's obviously huge for him personally. It's probably quite difficult being seen as great at one job, as a footballer, then going into another one having to prove yourself in a completely different way. When, to be Frank, you don't really need to. Respect.

Their promotion was never in doubt, afterall they did say 'We'll be back'.

Rumour mill already in full effect in Cov: they’re after Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones apparently…

Surely James Maddison will be looking to move back to the Premier League.

Maybe Callum Wilson could hesd back home as well.
