For better or worse, Manchester United are United. West Ham are West Ham. Newcastle are Newcastle. Not worth swimming against the tide on that one. Maybe if we were called Aston United (urgh) it'd bother me.

It’s exactly what they want you to think. For that very reason it’s ManU, ManUre, Man UTD or Manchester United. It’s never United on its own.

I’ve decided to start calling them Manchester Uni-ted, pronounced like unitard.

Touched the ball once, I think. Gave away a free kick on the edge of his own penalty area. Tbf, the state of the game was such that the ball wasn't ever really coming anywhere near where he was.
