Manc arrogance also extends to Citeh being the only City.  They're, of course, the only C115y.

For better or worse, Manchester United are United. West Ham are West Ham. Newcastle are Newcastle. Not worth swimming against the tide on that one. Maybe if we were called Aston United (urgh) it'd bother me.

It’s exactly what they want you to think. For that very reason it’s ManU, ManUre, Man UTD or Manchester United. It’s never United on its own.

I’ve decided to start calling them Manchester Uni-ted, pronounced like unitard.

Not a great deal. He played through the middle of the front three.

Touched the ball once, I think. Gave away a free kick on the edge of his own penalty area. Tbf, the state of the game was such that the ball wasn't ever really coming anywhere near where he was.

Missus going to her first sty game tonight with her brother and his girlfriend. I've tried, but can't say I'm not disappointed.

In worse news, I'm on a health kick and have some paella ready to go in the oven, but one of the dog's has just farted next to me and they always smell of kebab. It is written.

The commentator foe Angola v Egypt is unbelievably excitable.  It's ben a pretty boring 0-0 game with poor football but has made it sound like Villa v PSG game last season.
