I thought they’d dropped a bollock by giving him that contract at his age. But they’ll get big money from Saudi for him now, which might have been their motivation. The bastards.

Given he’s agitating for a move, I’d say this reduces Liverpools ability to charge an above market price.

But quite a bit more than him leaving on a free.

Let him go and they might be inclined to take Elliot back

But perhaps not if the alternative is having Salah around playing his mouth in the background.

That actually might be what this little spat is about - who gets the lion’s share of the Saudi windfall - Liverpool, or Salah?

I think Salah's statement is pretty pathetic.

Yup, what a fanny. On form he should have been dropped much earlier.

When I see an interview with Daniel Farke it always freaks me out a bit, in my head this fella should sound more like Sean Dyche.

It will be a face saving amount with add ons.
Getting his wages off the books is a pretty big incentive though.

It feels far more likely to me that Slot is binned off and Salah is back in the team under whoever the new guy is.

(apart from his time at AFCON)

Half empty Amex Stadium again. They're probably too busy moaning about Villa online again to go to the game.

What a dreadful choice of game. Bowen red card, please.

Sacking Slot and keeping Salah would be mad.

Macclesfield have scored a stunning goal in extra time to lead Slough 1-2 in extra time in the FA Cup.

Steven Sidwell a pundit at Brighton. Scored an amazing goal for us at Everton if I recall rightly.
