Quite happy for Konsa and Rogers to get nowhere near the pitch today and come back to Bodymoor safe and sound. My point isn't about tonight but about reputation before form in tournaments that has hamstrung England for generations. If it's Bellingham V Rogers, pick the player in form.

Quote from: Brend'Watkins on November 16, 2025, 04:21:25 PMThat was a Roy of the Rovers finish to a game of such importance. Great entertainment.Brilliant, scream here frightened my little girl 😂The winner eerily reminiscent to Robbie Keane's v Germany in 2002 with Quinn's knockdown. Azaz changed the game when he went into centre mid.

If it were being done on form, Bellingham should probably have been in instead of Rogers against Serbia.

Azaz changed the game when he went into centre mid. Agree with that. Wow, just watched it on RTE2+1. Moments like that aren't supposed to happen to Ireland, glorious failure is more our thing. If it wasn't for that late Portugal winner in Lisbon, we'd have topped the group. But I'll settle for the play-offs.
Swapping shirts at half time should be a yellow card offence :-)Hope DimTim has found somewhere else to post so he can roll out his Bellingham hatred….who am I kidding, hope he’s shouting at a mirror instead :-)
