They're already through so rotating a bit. Seems an odd thing to get angry about. Quite happy for Konsa and Rogers to get nowhere near the pitch today and come back to Bodymoor safe and sound.

My point isn't about tonight but about reputation before form in tournaments that has hamstrung England for generations. If it's Bellingham V Rogers, pick the player in form.

Bellingham has been generally excellent for Real Madrid since coming back from injury and is probably in better "form" than Rogers is.

If it were being done on form, Bellingham should probably have been in instead of Rogers against Serbia.

To be fair, his form could be good for Real Madrid? I have no idea. He can have the nothing 'dead rubber' games.

Edit: Well, Dave answered that.

That was a Roy of the Rovers finish to a game of such importance. Great entertainment.

Brilliant, scream here frightened my little girl 😂

The winner eerily reminiscent to Robbie Keane's v Germany in 2002 with Quinn's knockdown.

Azaz changed the game when he went into centre mid.

Agree with that.

Wow, just watched it on RTE2+1. Moments like that aren't supposed to happen to Ireland, glorious failure is more our thing. If it wasn't for that late Portugal winner in Lisbon, we'd have topped the group. But I'll settle for the play-offs. :)

We did have one advantage over Hungary.

Cracking game that, and a brilliant finish to the game.

Cherry on the cake, the Fash punished for thinking they’d got it tied up.

Brilliant double header this weekend, what with Scotland last night.

So he deserves his place in the side now then. But, as one pundit on 5Live put it earlier "he has got to be in the squad and team for the USA". Which disregards the next 7 months in favour of who he is.

Not that the commentators have noticed; too busy noshing him off.

I was just about to say similar, everything that he does is lovely and fantastic!

Lee Dixon is an awful commentator, such a bore and talks crap.  Thought Kane had a shocker that half, I know he likes to drop deep, but what’s the point of dropping deeper than your own midfield.

It all appears to be a bit disjointed. They can’t seem to get Eze more involved, Stones looks like a spare part left over when an engine has been reassembled.

Swapping shirts at half time should be a yellow card offence :-)

Hope DimTim has found somewhere else to post so he can roll out his Bellingham hatred….who am I kidding, hope he’s shouting at a mirror instead :-)

I think ROI would also have needed to find another 10 goals from somewhere.

If you are referring to me, I don't hate Bellingham, far from it but I hate automatic picks of which he, and others like Foden are often touted as, to the teams detriment.
