Watched one-time Arsenal rising star Jay Emmanuel-Thomas this evening.

In June he was given a four-year prison sentence for drug trafficking. In July this year he was released from prison*. In October I watched him come on as a pretty ineffectual sub after an hour for AFC Totton, as they enjoyed a meek 2-0 loss to Bath City, the first time I'd watched them win in about two years (about a dozen matches).

Life comes at you fast.

I thought I'd misread that but no, he did indeed serve just a month of a 4 year sentence. Cant see if or how long he was on remand.
