I know. Just pointing out who it is for people not knowing. Almost as bad a decision as Gardner being sporting director across the city.

£550m he's spent in his seven transfer windows and every bit of their team looks like it needs to be scrapped and started over.

I don't know why Sullivan still bothers.  He is about 108, still wears a stupid Russian hat and has to sit behind protective perspex to watch their games.

According to Google's AI Overview David Sullivan is 6 ft 0 in (184 cm). Who'd have thought it?

For me, it states no height for the businessman but 6ft for the footballer. (plus a list of other David Sullivans).

Assuming transfermkt is correct I'm getting about £380m (Jan 2023 until now). It doesn't stop the second bit being correct though.

I just read this article earlier.

Quote
Lucas Paqueta is one of what we would suggest is just two unquestionably good signings in a £550m transfer spend across Noble’s seven transfer windows with his hand on the tiller. He played a few neat passes, but doesn’t have anything like the support he needs to be the creative threat he evidently can be. The other plus point for Noble is currently pulling up trees for Tottenham.

Seems they either believe Noble was sanctioning transfers before he got the job (it was announced in Sept2022 and he formally took up position in Jan 2023) or they forgot Paqueta was signed in Aug 2022. His first official signing was Ings for 12mil.

Mine says "David Sullivan, the West Ham United owner, is 6 feet 0 inches (184 cm) tall" and has a picture of his smiling face beside it.  Probably gives different answers depending on how you ask the question.

Guess both are plausible, second feels more likely.

Getting 12m for Ings is the second biggest mugging in football history.

I've given West Ham some stick down the years but they're a long way from the most obnoxious and they have got big support, they deserve better than that scummy pair of chancers in charge and having their home taken and replaced by that horrible bowl.

It looks shit and temporary too, I'm no stadium expert but I reckon there will be problems with the structure somewhere down the line with said chancers a long way off in the distance with the money to fix it trousered.

They were so desperate to get rid of the stadium they got a very good deal financially, although needing to retain the athletic track is a bit shit.
The money for the development ofthe old ground will have gone to a good home though.
