One good thing about West Ham being relegated is that Blose wouldn't have the biggest stadium in the Championship, even if they built the new 62k ground.

Yep, challenge for the top half of the table is probably closer. Following on from the last 50 years, it is only 6 times in the last 130 years have they been top 6 in England and only 19 times over the same period have they been top 10. And three of those have been under Moyes.

Rightly or wrongly WHU supporters have a strong view on how their team should play "we're West Am we play on the floor". Moyes team banking into a 451 at home would be painful for most supporters. By his last season there, cup victory aside they had really regressed. Seemed to sign some really poor forwards too, Ings obviously, that Italian dude, still reliant on Antonio running his legs into stumps by the end. Rice was moving on then too.

It's the classic case of why a strong sporting director is crucial in a club. Moyes<Lopetegui<Potter<Nuno , they have gone full circle it seems. But no longer have the players to play that low block stuff that both Moyes and Nuno prefer and no budget to change things in Jan.

Wasn't there stories of Moyes clashing with someone they bought in for the transfers in one of the seasons. Not sure if that was the season they sold Rice or the one before when Noble was then appointed.
