5.45s away from home are great, you still have the rest of the evening to yourself. 5.45s at home are a fucking nightmare. Birmingham doesn't have the transport infrastructure to deal with 40,000 people going to Villa Park during rush hour.

Does anyone have any idea when the Lille away game will be on sale?

Should be announced tomorrow / Wednesday with them going straight on sale. We had 2,599 tickets last time and collection in person with passport.

Thanks for that. I went last time and got a ticket but wondered how far it will go down this time.

Hate the 5.45pm kickoffs. Always feel like I'm desperately rushing to get things done before the game starts.

I like them personally. I don’t have to book the night off work, or put the jinx in that often happens while I’m on my ten minute commute.

20 minutes the last race at Cheltenham.

I'll have no chance of an away ticket, but did people sit in home fans area near the away block last time?

I did, in the upper tier to the right side of the away end. French friends  got me 4 tickets but there were pockets of other Villa dotted around. We didn’t wear colours and the Lille fans were ok, though we got some bitter comments after the game when we outed ourselves and celebrated.

We were back in town before the fans in the away end too😊

Purchased a ticket and noted that I am back in the first tier in the new criteria.

Me too. Just had the green light off the other half to try to get a ticket for this.

I hope your other-half seeks your green light of approval when they want to swan-off to see Shania Twain or an NFL game.

Isn’t that mainly because it’s a reasonable size allocation? Halve the allocation and there’d be a 4 aways tier as well.

Seems to be a couple of hundred or so tickets left at the moment, so should definitely make season ticket holders tomorrow.

Also the shortage of time  - todays slots were 12, 2 and 4 then tomorrow at 10. So i guess they have to set the bar lower to get through it all.
