I got one. The bulk of them did indeed sell very quickly.

I hope your other-half seeks your green light of approval when they want to swan-off to see Shania Twain or an NFL game.
I've got a fair bit of credit on that count. :)

Been looking at Lille's recent results. They started 2026 poorly, with five defeats in a row in all competitions but have improved recently. The only game they've lost in the last six was the first leg of the Europa play off round and they've won the last three without conceding a goal. Don't score many though. Lorient at home for them today.

Currently winning 1-0 after 70 minutes.

Finished 1-1. Injury time equaliser for Lorient.

Absolute banger of an equaliser for Lorient.
Highlights linky.

Had a quick look at their teams then and now.

Of the players from the second leg back then it appears only defender Tiago Santos and midfielders Bentaleb, Haraldsson and André are still with the club.

Dunno if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Are we the only club with a Covid-era core left in the western world?

Christ, we've score some worldies this season but that takes the biscuit.

I think that dive/foul on 77 minutes that went to VAR to put Lille 2-0 up would have been given as a pen in the Prem.

I was surprised at how Bentaleb played in that second leg two years ago. To be honest, most of them did.

That Tiago Santos really impressed me in those games, I thought he'd be destined for greater things.

Yes, just looking on Wikipedia, he played 28 league games that season, but only played 7 last season and 11 so far this season. Apparently he suffered a ruptured ACL in October 2024.
