He is a genuine fan and has been on various fan channels for years now, and by all accounts not a bad guy at all.

However he's fairly unique in the Villa fan media ecosystem in that he's consistently showering praise on everything the commercial department do, even including stuff like CL ticket pricing.  Not a surprise therefore that it emerged that he's in personal contact with Heck and gets freebies like this.

I expect he'll end up on the new FAB

Yes he contributed to a podcast and I stopped listening to it because it was so obvious he was pushing a line about how amazing the off the field stuff was

I follow on Twitter because I once saw a post which featured works going on at the ground that I hadn't been aware of, might've been that paddle steamer thing, so it's handy in that respect.

Any one think this should have been after the last game of the season?

Does it really matter?

Not sure it really matters.

It apparently does for the ones who want to blame everything bad on the club. It wouldn't have even been mentioned if the result had gone our way on Sunday.

Would imagine half the team will have holidays booked. Be a bit rubbish holding an awards ceremony without them.

I can just imagine if Villa had lost and then had an awards night this week. Chicago and Tim would be the first on here moaning their arses off at how out of touch the club was and that the players obviously didn't respect the fans.

Besides, they didn't play like they'd had a heavy night 4 days before.

They played like they'd been freebasing cocaine half an hour before kick off.

Wouldn't that mean they were hyper and running around rather then lethargic and second best?

Good point.

Probably just on the weed.

Probably, they definitely weren't different gravy on Sunday.
