Wrong shade of blue, for me. Would be fine for Barca though.

If we do produce a pair of these, I might be tempted. The Samba's with the crest on the tongue are poor.

Yes I bought a pair for my son, who is 25, which he initially really liked, but now thinks are a bit "noddy", I think some of his mates thought the crest looked a bit shit, but the rest OK.  He was going to try and get it off with nail polish remover.

True, but just as a pair of trainers I really like them.  Hopefully ours will be similar but with colours adjusted.

Christ, I've just seen they're going for 200 quid on ebay

I had no idea of this rule:

https://resources.premierleague.com/premierleague/document/2024/07/24/9bb99b06-fedd-40ea-821e-cb3d5d271628/Code-of-Conduct-for-Gambling-Related-Agreements-in-Football-190724.pdf

“3.5.2 Ensuring that mechanisms exist to enable supporters to have the ability to purchase adult replica kits that do not include gambling sponsorship logos, in the event that they are not otherwise available for purchase.”

Which a year ago said we were failing to do so. Anybody tried this out of late?

There's a bloke on Facebook that does really nice Villa trainers like these, it's called Trainer Transformer, he's based out of Atherstone.

Me neither. I'd be interested in the response. I see the Code sets out a complaint procedure.

I had a look at Everton's shop, and sure enough they offer the adult shirt sans shit sponsor.

Who's the commercial fire-putter-outter equivalent to Phil Mepham and Nicky Keye?

That's a nice shoe.

It is, but then you see them on a fat scruffy bloke down the match and they become less desirable.

I think they look like bowling shoes. Horrible.

And I - being a fifty something - wear Adidas trainers more often than not.

I just don’t think claret and blue works with trainers.
