Sorry, was collating two posts and got mixed up. The 3-1 grey kit game was April 1996. Presumably Easter, as you say. October 96 was the 6-3 defeat referenced earlier.

Terrace icons range released this morning. No sign of the white track top, sadly.

I wanted the drill top until I saw the massive trefoil on the back. Then saw a dad on the school run with the Arsenal equivalent on.

Ha, yeah, that is a double blow. My first bit of non-jersey Villa merch was a Reebok claret drill-top in 1997 so this did stir the nostalgia temptation in me but damn that massive trefoil on the back.

It does seem a sparse range. Wonder what happened to the couple of other items that were on that leak last month.

Caved-in for the away 82 inspired effort. It just looks boss. No sponsor is always a bonus.

Hummel did a range of retro shirts in 2005 with McGrath, Shaw and Cowans' names and numbers. Didn't have the funds at the time and I still get pangs of envy when I occasionally spot someone wearing one of those tops at Villa Park.

There's a second drop later in the season.

The gullible twat that I am, I just bought an Onana and a Kamara. The tops that is. Hoping it helps with PSR.

What about Daly and Mings? Apparently this range is limited and won't be replenished so unlikely to be half-price on Boxing Day or end of the season.

Pleasing to see so many of team wearing the long-sleeved shirt today. Hopefully, Adidas will continue to produce one for future kits.

Adidas Spezial collab to drop this month on the 16th.

Here's an example from other clubs...

I know it’s probably treasonous to go away from Adidas now, but these Patrick’s are beautiful and a damn site cheaper.

They are called Patrick Dijon and they have loads of colour variants.

Every mom wears Adidas now, can't bring myself to buy them, I went Diadora for my last pair.
