if you forward a ticket to a family member do you have to pay the difference between 1/19th of ST price and the individual match price?

No you get 1/19th of your ST price
Forward to a family member not sell ! When you used to phone ticket office and assign ticket to another ID you had to pay the difference to matchday price

Just to clarify, can someone confirm please.

We aren’t getting digital season tickets, but a match by match ticket ?
Some people have already received and downloaded their Newcastle ticket.

And the club have not communicated any of this new process to the fans.

Have I summarised this correctly?

Also looks like the option to use the code instead of NFC is gone or is that only available 3 hours before the game?

Can download ticket and use QR code if you do not have / want to use NFC. But will need to download before you get to the stadium in case you cannot get a signal which is 99% likely with their crap internet connection.

Download the Villa app if you haven't already. Go into the Villa app, make sure you are logged in, and click "tickets". If it is there you should be able to download it. If it isn't there, it hasn't been issued yet. Try again in a day or two.

I have just downloaded the Villa app and now it’s telling me to log in. I’ve never logged in before and it’s asking for my email address and password. Do I have to make up a password now as I have never had one for this app before, or is there one already for one of ways I’ve previously bought tickets and merch?

You should have a password if they have emailed you before I think? I think app password is same as your Villa website password. I would try logging in if you can't do it on the app do it on the website and there should hopefully be a forgot password option. And if that doesn't work... you'll probably have to phone em 😕

I've done this countless times and never had to pay the difference to matchday price. That said anybody I've assigned to has always been on my family/friends list.

It's the same details as you'd use to login to buy tickets though the website.

Cheers. The missus knew the password as she always buys the tickets. Bit concerning though that I’ve spent a few hundred quid on tickets already this season and the app is telling me I haven’t got any.

Mine (season ticket) only appeared today and they've said they're doing season tickets first so hopefully yours will be on there in a day or two at the most.

Not really sure where you've got that from. It's four days until the match starts, and they've communicated that they're sending the tickets out.

They’ve communicated by Twitter. They haven’t sent out an email explaining the system

Fingers crossed. I’m sure wifey will be able to sort it out for me if she gets over her incredible lack of patience before Saturday.

I’ve just noticed if you click on the information button on the downloaded ticket in the app it tells you twice that every supporter entering Old Trafford is searched before entry.

Can’t stand Musk, like many I don’t tweet.

AVFC Support is the only thing I still use on Twitter.

I’ve just sent them a message saying that it appears that Villa are relying on those of us still willing to use Musk’s cesspit to inform those that don’t about the ticketing changes.

Here are the details

https://www.avfc.co.uk/villa-park/app-ticketing

Although I still can’t figure out how to add to family and friends. Maybe that is on the website somewhere?
