Did they give a reason?

You'll probably find you're still surrounded by the same people next season, they've just moved you all a bit to squeeze more in.

From that seat map posted earlier in the thread, it looks like M5 is being reconfigured for disabled seats at the front?

I've got the same seat in the same position but I'm now in A5 not A4. Presumably means an extra gangway has been created somewhere to my right (as I look at the pitch) and the gangway I used to use may have gone. No drama for me thankfully.

Did they give a reason?

As part of our long-term vision for the Club, we are continuing with the Villa Park redevelopment project to deliver an exceptional matchday experience for every fan. This includes the realignment of gangways and the addition of new seats, including 15 new accessible seating positions.

Due to these ongoing improvements, unfortunately, there have been some slight changes to the exact location of your seat for the 2025/26 season. Aston Villa would not be the Club it is without its supporters, and altering the seats of loyal fans is not something we take lightly. We have made every effort to ensure your new allocation reflects the best, nearest available seat.

This was the waffle!

Received the dreaded email of seat relocation, same block different row but over 20 seats to the right taking us away from half way line towards Holte End, Upper Trinity.

At least it's moving towards the Holte which is better than the other way.  I wonder what they are doing up there that requires people to shift 20 seats over?

Moving (and removing) gangways like they did last year in the Upper North and Lower Holte - squeezing more seats in.

The Left picture is from the OS this morning, the right from the Premier league website.
You can clearly see the difference in the Trinity Upper layout. Looks like there will be a rejig of the blocks (from A1-A8 to A1-A9).

Hmmm, my wife and I are in A5, right in line with where C5 changes to C6, looking at that picture, our seats might be A6 next season.
had the email now A6 instead of A5 but no seat, row or location change, just block change but they say it is physically the same seat and location
