So, as we went into this mini campaign, 4 games, all being must win games, this was the one I thought we could really pull together a good result, get a few goals under our belt, good performance, get ourselves into the right frame of mind for the last game of the season which I also have tagged as the banana skin, first things first, here we go.

We are right back in the mix now, everybody had us written off a few weeks ago, now a lot of pundits are stating 5th place and Champs League and one has got us at 4th, good win against Spurs and heaps more pressure on everybody around us and we come good at just the right time.

Villa win 3-0.

We are an unbelievable run it's been superb , akin to the 10 win streak that lead to our modern renaissance under Deano. Keep it going . UTV .

The spurs forums are interesting.
None of their fans want this game, most want players rested and all predict a defeat.

Oh, and they all want  Cash maimed !

Imagine what their forums would have been saying about Bosnich if they'd been around 30 year ago.

I remember him carting one of their players a bit late at Villa Park when we played them under Gerrard, and then the Bentacur tackle which was a regulation full back clack but no worse than you see game after game.

That they have this ongoing thing about him is really funny given they employ one of the most snide, cynical twats in Romero, who probably makes three or four challenges per game on a par with Cash's, and Mr Nice Guy Son who nearly finished Andre Gomes career with a horrific tackle.

I despise Romero, he just appears to be a borderline sociopath.

Bergvall was a despicable twat in the Cup game, constantly cynically sything our players down. When he was finally booked after his 10th sych tackle, he screamed at the referee. Prick.

They like Romero cos he's a thug but when they are losing they constantly knock him as a defender and footballer.

I cant believe we can possibly finish with higher points than last season. If you'd told me that in mid January I'd have said you were nuts. Very very similar to 22/23. The goals aren't flowing as freely as last season but we seem to be defensively much tighter

Well yeah but that’s not unique - Chelsea “threw away” 5 points against Ipswich, Citeh 2 against Saints etc.
