I think you’re probably reading into stuff that isn’t there.

Good job Rogers looked into the box for Watkins and not the "easy" ball to Konsa.

Mings reminds me of Pepe Reina when he was here a bit. He might make mistakes but he gives the rest of the defence the confidence not to make them.

7 wins out of 8 and some people still try and find negativity. It's weird as fuck.

*Goes on the post-match thread buzzing after a massive win. Oh great, it's another Mings/Torres discussion.*

I'm edging closer to hoping we sell the pair of them this summer just so it ends.

Thought our gk / defense and Onana haad good games - Marco had a good 20 minutes, Ollie looked much better after his goal.  Ramsay was also good up to his needless red.

Rogers looks a shadow of what he was but still got an assist and our attacking play doesnt seem quite right - but its been like it all season.  We missed Teilemans (or dougie) - someone a bit cuter with the ball.

Kamara indifferent form continued - not sure if its the contract talk

Personally - I think despite his obvious ability - Marco contribution is offset by what we lose from rogers.  And Marco hasnt added enough in the last 9 games to make it worth while.

""Kamara indifferent form continued - not sure if its the contract talk"

REALLY ??
Did you watch the game ?

He covered nearly every inch of the pitch
He was clearly given an instruction to cover Cash and double up on their left sided attackers which is where they have done so well lately
He was MOM by a distance today

I was in the hospitality section and Mings was limping and stretching out for several minutes before he actually got subbed. Clearly struggling. But immense with it.
I heard somewhere that he plays through the pain. He remains a hero.

Can't agree with that thought Kamara again was below his usual best . Has been for a few weeks now .

I don’t think we’ve limited Bournemouth as much as we did today in previous performances. Great tactical set up. We looked to have purposefully gone with a lot of ball carriers and it worked. They rotational fouled Ramsey who I thought was very unlucky to be sent off. I wonder if the ref forgot he’d already booked him That melee in the first half was because of a quite nasty foul on Ramsey. Martinez got booked for being Martinez. I think the ref forgot he was our captain at that point and was entitled to talk to the ref.

Cash was great today. Ollie looked over the moon about becoming our record premier league scorer and I was glad for him. Midfield was awesome. Strange one on Mings if he wasn’t injured.

I've no problem with Martinez taking a yellow in those circumstances. He's our captain today and that was a bad foul on JJ. Martinez was in the zone today I thought, made lots of good decisions.

Agreed. I think that ref thought he’d come flying from his box to the half line to get involved -which he did- but not as our captain, rather as our keeper. Ref thinks ‘it’s Martinez’ and books him because of that ‘crime.’ Then maybe later clocks (or doesn’t) ‘oh, he’s the captain!’ But it’s too late then. Would be indicative of his poor control and officiating. As others have pointed out, how Semanyo doesn’t get a minimum of a yellow when he’s very possibly the last man was baffling. There’s another where Asensio wins the ball cleanly in their half and it’s about to be 2 on 2 so the ref appears to think it’ll be more trouble if he’s wrong at that point so guesses and gives a foul rather than let the move play out and VAR could asses. This was a game with big implications depending on the outcome and we were subject to the whims of a very poor official. Not for the first time.

Stop obfuscating

Pau doesn’t concede for 125 mins

I’m saying that’s unusual.

Are you saying that’s not unusual??

That’s a huge win, massive and some brilliant performances, yet you’re focusing on a negative, which wasn’t even anything to be negative about? That’s just weird.

I’m sure Unai is also nitpicking. That’s what winners do.

That’s really magnificent from Cash and Martinez at the end, won us the points.

Big game for Onana too, he’s been really good since coming back from injury. Him and Maatsen have been very good signings as the seasons progressed. Great recruitments from our management.

So chuffed for our Ollie. Brilliant goal from the lad from Devon.

Watkins in his post match interview said they'd be watching the game back tomorrow . Guess this is an emeryism type thing to get them all in and review the actual content of the game etc .
