Lots of people saying Citeh are a poor team, yes they’re not the team they were but they’re third in the league and on a decent run of form and had home advantage.

It’s hardly like we were playing Blose.

Indeed and you forgot to mention their cheating.

I don't get what we are doing with Disasi. I thought he was the Diego Carlos replacement so would play RCB either covering Konsa or with Konsa at right back in more defensive games. No idea why we are playing him right back when all three of Cash, Garcia and Konsa are fit. There is no way we saw him at right back for Chelsea and thought he was the solution surely.

I love Rogers but in certain games it is clear that he is struggling and Unai doesn't react quickly enough. It's not like we don't have other options on the bench now.

I can see the logic with Mings/Torres. Presumably he wants Mings fit for the Palace game to cater for Mateta after what happened in the earlier games.

Disasi doesn't look comfortable as a full back. He may get there in time but an important run in doesn't feel like the best time to try and get someone else's player there.

Why doesn't Emery give Rogers a rest? His type of game is energy sapping with surging runs through the opposition. Why he left it so late to take him off was ridiculous. Emery has a strong squad and got this badly wrong with Rogers last night. Also, back to walk football at times - this cost us in Paris. Play on the front foot like we did in the second half against PSG and Newcastle last Saturday. Also, we dominated City at home in December and beat them comfortably and should've scored more than two goals.

It's definitely not done yet. Switching off last night cost us but other teams will have iffy results as well. We were going to get one in this run we've had sooner or later.

I dont understand what a "game-maker" means in comparison to a "game-changer".

It's an understatement to say Disasi is not comfortable at right back. He's absolutely not a full back and ultimately thats what cost us. Once he had replaced Cash City knew we were vulnerable to a pacey winger so they brought on Doku. It just felt like a matter of time once those two were matched up. Having said that I think Pau has a big problem dealing with that type of ball from the left. He just doesn't seem to have a "they shall not pass" attitude. He could of made more of an effort to cut that cross out but he didn't. Same thing against PSG. He hesitated like a little kitten and just got in Emis way leading to their first goal. I haven't got the time or patience to run through them all but I don't think those are the only times we have conceded where he could of cleared the ball if he was determined enough. Mings would of cut that cross out last night and he would not have been caught dilly dallying against PSG. He would of thumped it into row Z and probably pissed Emi off in doing so.

Ok... so...

We now have (pretty much) just one game a week until the end of the season, so there is no reason not to play our best defence (injuries permitting) and that is Cash, Konsa, Mings, Digne.

We also perform better, unsurprisingly, when we have time to prepare for games - the lower intensity schedule will help that...

After a bright start, our Jan signings have all taken a bit of a dip or disappeared totally - while they have served a purpose, I  don't think I would be starting any of them in the coming games.

5 (hopefully 6) winnable games. We need to be on the front foot in all of them.

And please, please Unai - never play Desasi at right-back again.

As I see it, we have to win every game now, otherwise the CL ship will have sailed and with it will go one or more key players - that’s how fine these margins are.

One things for sure, our mental strength needs improvement - we simply cannot afford to continue conceding late goals, it’s killing us.

I'm aware that one mistake is all it takes at the very top level but it wasn't as if Doku was skipping past Disasi every time he got the ball, he did it once, that was enough and Disasis's body shape was awful for that but I feel there still should have been enough cover to do a better job of preventing the goal.

All in all, a pretty poor game with few chances. Fine margins.

I alluded to that in my post a page or so back, once he’d skinned Disasi what the fuck were the rest of them doing?

On the feed I was watching a caption came up saying we were now the worst in the PL for goals against after 90mins.

I missed the first ten minutes last night, was at a mate's house and he put it on in the background.  I didn't see any of the HT or FT chat, so I've only just seen that Rashford hit the post after 18 seconds!  What might have been...

Ball watching . Nobody took any ownership of the situation .
