For the moment I can't bear to watch it again, but it seemed that Doku miscontrolling the ball was what enabled him to go past Disasi so easily.

Yep. All his life he’s been told ‘don’t dive in, but be ready for your man to take a bad touch’ like everybody has. He was just a millisecond too late to react to it.

After getting through an hour of disappointment I can see we can still do this. It's a bit more difficult but not impossible. 2 defeats in 11 is still impressive form.

Hardly likely to be thrilled about it are they?  And you add Rogers coming off tonight and throwing a sulk about it, refusing to shake the managers hand. He's been poor for weeks,  but appears to be undroppable.  Emery's subs almost feel like they've been preplanned on occasions and tonight was one of them.

So a player who isn't picked is angry with the manager, and one who is un-droppable is also angry with the manager. Subs are usually preplanned by the way. I mean the previous 10 wins had subs coming on at set time and usually transforming the match as part of a gameplan after previous players had tired out the defence etc. Didn't see you moaning then. Of course, it was 10 WINS wasn't it.

I had KRO on my bingo card.

You're really can be very unpleasant when people disagree with you. I can't help you.

SOTV
I think you are a bluenose.

I'd suggest that if you're looking for bluenoses on the thread, you need to look elsewhere. They're not exactly the brightest, so not too hard to spot.

If you want to substitute a full back, and you have a full back on the bench. Don’t bring on a friggin centre half. Last minute goal for the opposition,we’ve been here before.

Or you could bring on a centre-half, play him at centre-half, and move our centre-half who is also our best right-back to right-back.

That's what I thought he'd did when he came came on. It was still a weird sub though.

I'd rather have NRC at RB than Disasi. And he's 41 next month.

Stanloi, aka SVC, had this to say on X;

Quote
I feel for Disasi. Centre back, not the quickest turnover of feet, shouldn't be anywhere near playing right back. So we play him against a PSG flier then O'Reilly and then Doku.

In 2 crucial games, he was done ( again, CD's that aren't quick over 5 yards shouldn't be playing fullback) over 5 yards, and led to crucial goals.

Rogers needed resting tonight. Emery rarely rotates him. He shouldn't play every game. Tonigh, I'd rather he played Ollie up front, Rashford wide left and Ramsey wide right. 5 changes from Sarurday's starting lineup was too many.

Make two changes across the back four when none were required 👍 perry on the sherry again

Maybe we should have started like that? Odds are we wouldn’t have conceded after 7 minutes, considering Cash defended like a  really slow hologram. I’m aware however that you think the more goals a defence concedes, the better it is, so no need to tell us that yet again.

Anyway, you’ve called me mental, gay and a drunk now. Not to mention the gaslighting. A real charmer aren’t you?

All because you don’t like it when I ridicule your ridiculous opinions.

Go and pick on the dozens of others on here who laugh at your pathetic and hilarious Dunning-Kruger player ratings. Comedy gold they are.

Rogers was booked and is on 9 bookings now. Does the amnesty on 10 yellows come in soon? Remember this time last year Dougie just had two minutes to avoid a yellow and a suspension but fucked-up with a late booking in the 3-3 with Brentford.
