I think the ref has been ok. He’s missed a couple, but he’s been pretty balanced.

We haven't given them much to talk about.

Is it just me or was there a touch of Rotterdam about our goal?

There was, but not as much as there was about Malen’s on Saturday.

I’m sure they will favour us next week in the commentary. It’s how it works , bias is always to the home team.
No point in getting wound up by it.

Well for all their amazingness and all round superbness they needed an absolute worldie to score a goal. Listening to the commentary I feel like we're not worthy of being on the same pitch as them.

They're not as good as Juve in 1983 but comparable to the Bayern team we beat. Different eras obviously.
I think they are better than Juventus.

We need to try and get to Vitinha. They’ve got some brilliant players but he knits it all together.

They seem to have the best players from every country nobody has ever heard of. Yet.

Not sure about that, surely everyone knows Hakimi and Kvaratskhelia are world class and I'm fairly sure we were linked to Doue and Vitinha before they signed them.

A little bit of artistic license on my part. Not literal.

To be fair they have put them all together in a team, some on the basis on tournament performances (which is not always a reliable indicator).

Emery will be pleased at 1:1. Nobody wins at Villa Park in the CL this season, keep it tight for 45 mins boys..

He's been ok but the threshold for a free kick for them is clearly lower than it is for us. Might just be the home crowd but he's waved away a couple that were definite fouls.

commentators   STFU and stop wanking over PSG

Its 1 1 ffs

Glad it's not just me who thinks there has been a massive TNT circle jerk going on in commentary over PSG throughout that half.

Thought we were really under the cosh in the early stages, but started to come back into it and scored a great goal.  They started to look like less threatening, but scored a great goal out of the blue and then kicked on.again.

We simply can't give the ball away cheaply against these.  Ref has given very little as well.

Perfect summary

Not sure what he did but the tactical switch when JJ had the groin injury changed the game and worked wonders!

Disasi on, which seems sensible.
