We've won seven straight. Five clean sheets and two goals conceded in said games.

Ah no, hang on. One of them is the friendly against Alan. 😀

One goal conceded in six games then, not too shabby.

Glad it didn’t matter but watching our non-pen back. That was an astonishingly bad decision.

Attwell.

Yep and he was poohing-poohing that before the game!

How does Rogers get a 4 with 2 assists @Bronte?

My uncle watched the game (I didn't) and he also felt Rogers had a very poor game. He thought Digne, Kamara and Onana (when he came on) were our best players but, whilst it was a good result, he wasn't that impressed with the performance. He also mentioned that João Pedro gave Konsa a torrid time for 20-30 mins.

Contrary f*cker too no doubt, get him to post up a few ratings! Konsa couldn't cope with JP at all, skinned him in the first play nearly and had him in a lot bother until he limped off. JP is a fine forward, Ferguson hasn't a hope of getting in there ahead of him.

Onana took a while to get going I thought but definitely added a bit of presence in midfield where Tielemans struggled.

But sure we won 0-3, 9s all round

Rogers 4? Laughable.

He’s someone I always ignore. If he was on VT he’d have been long gone for “posting for a response”!

Rogers gets a 3 for the first half and a 7 for the 2nd. I’m good at maths so thats a 5 overall. He’s wasted out wide in truth.

Fantastic win. 3 superb goals too.
On to the next cup final .

Oh yeah. Brilliant as tonight was, it will mean little if we don't beat Notts Forest. Not sure my nerves can take it but I think I'll sleep well tonight.

He definitely hasn’t a hope now he’s at Wham!

For all Brighton's possession they created very little. I thought we looked comfortable all match & were clinical when the chances came .

Outrageous decision from VAR not to look at the penalty, which will get lost in all the fuss about Tarkowski's challenge.

It was a definite pen.

Traky should have walked but YNWA goal was offisde. Pundits - seen em given or not.

Traky? Come on, don't talk like you're a Toffee.

Are you sure? I've seen it reported as six.

I loved how the Brighton keeper and their defender waved for offside when Rashford scored. He clearly made his run in their half of the pitch. It's the type of deflection someone does when they've made a clanger as it was shocking defending/goalkeeping.

Also, Ollie deserves credit for staying out of the way of Asensio's goal. Dunno if he still doesn't like celebrating his teammates goals but his body-swerve was for the greater Villa good tonight.

And he was onside even in our half.
