If we beat Forest then Newcastle at 5:30 on a Saturday with people beered up is going to be a crackling atmosphere.

First - is a bit of a hopeful punt really. Second - Cash is the one that really makes that goal, even the pass to Asensio was bobbling all over the place. Credit to the kid, the stats at the end of the season wont lie but not sure he has ever played well for us in that position.

You’re either on the wind up or you’ve never played football before, if you think that was a “hopeful punt”.

Brontey
I like your posts, but Rogers 4 !!!!
He had an anonymous 1st half, but did you miss that two of his passes led to two goals ?

Even if their "goal" hadn't been disallowed, I still reckon we'd have won comfortably. Brighton were exhausted late on and we had all our lovely fresh subs on.

Honestly, our bench is ridiculously strong.

For all Brighton's possession they created very little. I thought we looked comfortable all match & were clinical when the chances came .

Outrageous decision from VAR not to look at the penalty, which will get lost in all the fuss about Tarkowski's challenge.

Possibly because bronte has played football before and isn't any good it seemed like it was a hopeful punt!

Our defence has been so improved. And tonight we did it without Mings. But after that horror show at Palace we’ve won 6 straight, scored 15 but critically conceded just once. That’s a remarkable turnaround. We’ve all said it or thought it across the season that had our defence just been average we’d be many points better off. To be 7th with a -1 GD when everyone above us and 6 of 7 sides below us have a positive GD (many double digit) is a bizarre and incredible stat.
