FA Cup - Melbourne
« on: March 22, 2025, 05:13:43 AM »
Mods - feel free to move this.

Any Villa fans in Melbourne on here?

I am in town next weekend and looking for somewhere central to watch the Preston game.

Any decent pubs/sports bars that anyone can recommend.

Cheers

AVSC Melbourne Lions often congregate at the Charles Dickens Tavern in the city. They usually post on Faceb**k if there’s an event. The CDT is pretty ropey to be honest.

The Imperial near Parliament often shows matches.

The Fifth Province in St Kilda shows sport and is a pretty lively pub that does passable Guinness.

Their online schedule says they’re showing the Palace Fulham cup tie on Saturday, but nothing about our game on Sunday/Monday:

It'll be the best of times if we win, it'll be the worst of times if we lose.

Hoping for More in the FACup rather than hearing the Little Knell of doom
