We are not skint, we are screwed by financial rules. Those same rules are seemingly ignored by other clubs though, seemingly.

We are indeed screwed by the rules.

Other clubs are also bound by them, they're just able to work inside them because they generate lots of money, nobody is ignoring the rules.

It's chicken and egg, Paulie. Those rules were made to the benefit of the clubs *currently* making more money than us. They're designed to stifle clubs like ours from consistently competing and making more money.   A small case in point, the principle of "fair market value" for sponsorships...brought in after Chelsea and Man City had financially doped their ways ahead of us.  It's a rigged system.

If this were tennis, it would be like a 33 year old Bjorn Borg abducting a 21 year old Boris Becker and chopping off his legs - where's the fun in that?

Wow - that Man U game really did have monumental levels of repercussions, didn't it. Jadon Snacho as I live and breath.

Lindelof and Sancho, yikes. I’m getting Joleon Lescott and Scott Sinclair 2015-16 vibes.

Harvey Elliott however would be an excellent signing at this point if we could pull it off.

I agree, and we need the bodies given the squad named yesterday

I've just seen Remi Moses at One Stop Perry Bar.  Incoming?

An absolute disaster of a window...

Sancho in, (Yikes!) and I suspect we are going to get low balled on Emi at 6.45pm.

The only thing that could make it worse is if we get Raheem Sterling in as well!!

Not for me.  The team lacks pace and he’s known to be slow.

I suspect the only thing keeping Sterling away is his wages. Thank you, Sterling's wages.
