If West Ham aren’t willing to loan then Pacqueta won’t be coming here.

And i would be ok with that. Can see this being a expensive  disaster with no resale value

Agreed totally Demitri. Especially when Asensio is less money and just as good. I find this a very weird link, and even more ammunition that Monchi needs to be found a new club soon.

Pacqueta is a bloody good player. Let’s not forget he was on the verge of joining Citeh before the betting thing.

And more ammunition for Monchi needing to go? Really? As you highlight Asensio is a good player, he obviously did a decent job getting him here in the first place.

What on earth has happened with the RCB?! Were after the French kid who may or may not be going to Palace.

Not going to cut it having Bogarde cover RB and RCB when he's not even that good in either position.

I have a weird feeling Disasi is just going to turn up on loan again at 6.59pm on Monday.

Paqueta is keen on the move, apparently.

🚨🟣🔵 Understand Aston Villa are now advancing in talks to sign Lucas Paquetá.

Negotiations underway with West Ham while Paquetá is keen on #AVFC move.

Paqueta's quality. Not sure his position is the most urgent we need to fill, mind.

He's a creative player, we don't have creativity. People say pace, we have pace, it's just on the bench

Well it’d make sense - we’re talking about 3rd or 4th choice centre back. At centre back he’s fine, and him arriving creates no issues in terms of the Euro A squad registration.

I've always thought Paqueta was a good player but one of those annoying little shits.  Always at the heart of the shit happening, like that Bruno fecker at the barcodes.   If this is real, I am definitely for it.

He's obviously a very good player. But there'd be no point bringing in him *and* Asensio.

And from a cost perspective him *instead* of Asensio seems really weird.

Yup that’s where I struggle with it.

We don't need another central midfielder.
