It was a pity Chambers didn't get on, he played a key role in our CL qualification (assist for Duran to make it 2-3 v Livahpool).

I liked Cardiff's lad, Ng. Not sure what his xG was but he should have had a penalty in the first half.

yes looking at the incident again this morning looked a nailed on pen but no use crying over spilt milk . oh well back to the bread and butter Burnley at home Tuesday night

overall villa were far too strong for us but pleased 5 young academy products involved for us last night . our 18 year old left back and 19 year old centre half who was making  his first senior debut were immense . proud of them

driving back home soon

by the way is Aston station always that rammed after  match days ! ?

Its nearly always a nightmare at Aston station, I feel sorry for the station staff who are often treated with contempt by some arsey supporters, but its nearly always chaotic.

Safe journey home and well played last night

First club through to the last 8, don't think I've never said that before. I would have liked to have seen more of 18 year old Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba, it was a lovely ball he put through to Morgan at the end, which he should have scored from.

A straight forward win.
Should’ve been a few more but we are through and that’s all that matters. A home draw again please and we can really start thinking about winning this.

Hi Dinas
Yes, it’s always like that  :)
Well played, especially the lad in defence.
Good luck with the rest of the season.

The club need to sort the massive queue for Trinity Rd A block. I'm pretty sure a lot of fans will have missed the kickoff  . The new bar area has created one big queue  instead of the normal  3 or 4 . This was the entrance down the steps from William McGregor statue . Don't know if it was as bad further up the Trinity road A block entrances.

Looked really composed,  did well and a few nice touches. Hopefully he stays that composed when he's through 1 on 1 with the keeper at the Holte End at some stage.

congrats on your win and good luck next round

thought we were decent tonight  but the gulf in class shone through in the end

hopefully we brought  some good  atmosphere to villa park think i've lost my voice
Yes I think you did well and unlucky with the penalty call.
Colwill is going to be a very good player but they all put a shift in and stuck to the system. Eventually you ran out of gas.
All the best.

Was very impressed with Colwill in midfield. Very strong on the ball and good engine on him.

Was he the 27? Good on the ball, strong and quite creative.

Better than being a daft lad with a left touch.
