Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal and that goal would be given. Fuck this.

They wouldn't have even looked at it. Incompetent wankers.

No fucking way that is offside. I'm sick of VAR. Can't enjoy a single goal anymore without waiting for them to go back to the 90's to check if they can make an arbitrary interference with it.

Boo fucking boooo load of shit officials again.

I don't think hand counts because you can't touch the ball legally with it. Not sure, though.

I have long argued that - with the crazy minutiae now offered by tech - that the offside gap needs to be more obvious because it gives the striker no slack (the old guidance was that benefit should be given to the striker). Strikers have no margin for error any more.

So a knee counts as part of a body but an arm doesn't?

The VAR thing is annoying but let’s not let it distract from the fact that it’s another game where we’ve shot ourselves in the foot. It is ridiculous how inept we are and switch off defensively- I keep saying there is no point trying to play in a controlled way if you get such fundamentals wrong all the time.

The officials have been shit, that's par for the course. But we have also wilted at a claustrophobic lower league ground, as we usually do. Change the fucking narrative Villa.

The obvious change is Rashford on after their RB got booked but Ramsey has been our best player.

That formation is an abomination. If it was possible to look any worse at the back from the last few games we have somehow managed it. Id love to see Konsa hooked but Bogarde will be.

That goal aside Rogers has been very quiet. Tielemans is struggling too.

But even with the rules as they are it was onside the blind feckers.

Offside was introduced as a deterrent to stop goal hanging.

It should never have become incredibly fine margins and interpretation of when the ball was played.

Anyway, get Rashy, Ashy, and Malen on at half-time, please. We don't need five defenders one down to Crystal Palace.

Sarr is a massive prick as well. Anonymous most of the season and turns up only for games against us. Knobhead.
