Some great football was witnessed tonight and I can wait to watch them again. That little link up with Asensio and Rogers was sublime. The back heel was just in font of me and there was an audible gasp from the crowd. If only Rogers had put that in the back of the net we'd be talking about that goal for years to come. Ipswich up next. Bring our A game and we should bag the 3 points. We need to improve our GD which currently stands at -3 . It's a minor miracle that we're still in touching distance of top four.

There was the other move after where Ramsey was clean through that was sensational, we'd popped it around in our own box and then cut through them like a ribbon, it deserved a much better finish from a player that's more than capable of it.

Bergvall should have been yellowed for when he hitched a ride on Malen. But the ref finally booked him for persistent fouling on a very innocuous challenge, so if he thought it was just for that I can see why the look. Not sure if the ref did the usual point around the pitch explanation or not.

Just a shame the ref at Wolves decided that persistent fouling was not a thing as I think 5 of the first 6 was by the same player.

Just watched highlights and the Porroshow of a tackle on Rashford - HOW has the ref waived that on?  He was right there watching it. The most obvious foul.  Whether it was inside teh penalty area I don't know, but fuck me that was a bad call from the ref.

I follow Celtic so liked AP and his style of football, was disappointed that he went there of course, but still retained my respect.

After his interview yesterday he can go fuck himself. Reaching onto the box of excuses with a dour, negative and frankly pathetic response to defeat. I watched half of their game at Anfield and alongside yesterday the only player who looked at all enthused or up for it was Spence.

I'm not genuinely not one to get chippy or paranoid about coverage. Pundits are in the entertainment business and they'll give the viewers want they want, and that's predominately the usual franchises.

But the BBCs coverage was incredibly Spurscentric. We could've had Tom Hanks through on goal and Prince William (waves) in the centre of defence, and they still would have been warbling on about the troubled times in N17.

Not stating they would have changed much, but after a run of bad results and speculation for several weeks about his job, it was no surprise most of the points were on Spurs. If we had beaten them off the back of them being decent, I don't think the story would be as much on them. However the post match space they had saved for extra time did have a fair bit of Villa towards the end of it once they had exhausted all Spurs angles and hadn't heard he had been sacked yet.

I agree.  It was Spurs-TV from minute one.  I listened to the Rest if Football podcast this morning and it was more of the same.  They were talking about how open the FA Cup is this year, saying that one of the 'other clubs' (like Bright or Newcastle) could win it.
