We are firmly locked into mid table with this result. 5th place seems a long way off even if mathematically it isn’t. Our performances just haven’t been good enough.

Losing to these, barely giving them a game is totally unacceptable
It's beyond pathetic

It sickens me to think people in Tipton are having a better time than I am.

We aren’t, I assure you.

We're not being outplayed by them, but they are containing us too comfortably.

We finally created a decent chance in the 90th minute

"Champions League - you're 'avin a laugh" - as predicted in the prematch. Clever.

They seen the CL table?

Duran robbed himself of the opportunity to firmly go down in Villa history by winning this one for us.

I’m not sure if we’re unlucky because of our injuries, idiots because of selling players before replacements had agreed to join, if we’re actually playing at our right level now and overachieved last season. Or if we’re tired and exhausted from the CL…

But we’re shit. At the moment.

F off Monchi

His mate in the dug out needs to start taking responsibility as well.  Monchi doesn't coach the team, but Emery's inability to make this team defend better isn't on Monchi.

We've created three, I reckon. Including the chance we scored a perfectly good goal from.
