Champions league, you're having a laugh. When you finish top 8 and automatically qualify ahead of Bayern, Juve, PSG, Man City and Real Madrid it doesn't work.

So they'll sing it. More denim than brain cells.

Hope we are not too tired  after Wednesday  night. Having a derby this week is ideal in terms of travel but not really afixture you wnat after such a hard fought game midweek.

Anticlimax incoming: 1-0 them, with a calamitous own goal arising from yet another defensive error.

I thought Mings was out for "a couple of weeks"?  Did I hear that wrong?  I've assumed Konsa will again be our only fit first team centre-half?

Hard to pick a team really. If Mings isnt back I guess Kamara will stay at LCB with McGinn back into midfield. Bogarde looks really uncomfortable at RB but we don't have another option it looks like. Digne was poor during the week so wondering if Emery might chance Maatsen on left for a bit more energy. From memory Matt Doherty plays on the right and he can't/won't defend so opportunities there for Ramsey to target him.

From what I've seen of Wolves this season they aren't as bad as their league position suggests. They seem to have a few temperamental sorts, likes of Cunha, Ait Nouri, who could cause us lots of problems if focused but drop the head quickly if things aren't going their way. Gomes in midfield is suspended thankfully.

Match them for intensity and we will win. Start off with a hangover from midweek and we won't. It's piss poor from Monchi not to have a fit experienced CB signed in time for this game. That cost us two points last week and likely will do again.

We just spend €7m on a right-back.

                 Kamara Tielemans

More protection for Bogarde

Or without mings

                     Martinez
Ned       Konsa       Kamara    Digne
                 Bogarde Tielemans
    McGinn       Rogers     Ramsey
                     Watkins

There's just no way he's going to play Nedeljkovic.
