Yep, and if we somehow get past Spurs, that means he'd be ineligible for 3 of our next 5 games.

And hopefully by the time the CL comes back around Torres and Mings will be available, so he's likely to be a bench option, or right-back option.

At least if we buy him he can play against Chelsea, and it's just the cup games he can't play in. A loan at this point doesn't really fix our immediate problem, unless Mings and Torres are miraculously cured in the next few days.

Felix going out on loan to AC Milan,  so there is now no loan option for Disasi. Only option would be to buy.

It's the opposite. The only option to buy would have been if we loaned Felix.

If Chelsea have now reached their maximum of 6 permitted outgoing loans, then us loaning Disasi is now off the table and we can only buy him.

With the caveat that I've already misread the rules once today..
